Hunting in PNG is widespread and is rapidly changing the biota of many tropical rainforest environments in PNG (http://rspas.anu.edu.au/papers/rmap/Wpapers/rmap_wp61.pdf). What happens next when all wildlife is gone is a question that we need to seriously look into. Wildlife costs nothing to maintain except having intact forests and managing our hunting practises. The choice is ours to make....
